PLAN ROOM SERVICES
Members benefit from a customer-friendly plan room providing accurate and up-to-date information on South Texas construction projects. Plans and specifications are also available online through Builders Exchange.
Every weekday an average of 50 plans are typically available for your use in the plan room. We provide private, individual take-off cubicles as well as a photocopier, plotter printer, fax machine and free WiFi access for your laptop. Builders Exchange allows access (subscription required) to plan information across the state in an easy to use, searchable format at your office.
· Construction Data Bulletin emailed twice weekly provides details on jobs to bid, list of plans in our plan room, tabulations and contract awards.
· Information is available 24 hours a day via the internet at the Builders Exchange (BXTX.com) online plan room at a discounted rate to AGC members.
· 24 Hours, 7 day a week access to our plan room for members.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS/EXTERNAL AFFAIRS
AGC has earned the reputation as the "go to" group when it comes to speaking for the construction industry. When local, state, and federal authorities want to know what the industry thinks about a relevant government issue, they call AGC first.

AGC of AMERICA RESOURCES

TEXAS BUILDING BRANCH (TBB) RESOURCES
AGC Texas Building Branch (TBB) was created in 1973 as the legislative office for all AGC building chapters in the State of Texas. TBB acts as a legislative representative and capitol presence for Texas AGC building chapters and maintains relationships with state agencies important to the building contractor and relationships with other professional organizations. It is TBB's mission to allow AGC building contractors to speak with one voice in the construction industry in Texas with the expressed purpose of legislative involvement.
· Contract Documents, Bonds and Liens Book generated by the TBB are available for purchase.
· Full –time Lobbyist in Austin to represent AGC members.
